Toddler Classroom (15 months – 2.5 years)

Toddlers want to do everything themselves, and our toddler classrooms are built for that. Between 15 months and 2.5 years, children in our Lake Zurich and Island Lake toddler rooms practice new words, new skills and new friendships through play, with teachers close by to guide each step.

We follow The Creative Curriculum for Toddlers, with predictable routines that help young children feel secure: the same warm greeting at drop-off and the same rhythm to meals, play and nap.

What your toddler works on

  • Language: naming things, simple requests, songs and stories every day.
  • Self-help skills: handwashing, feeding themselves, cleaning up, and potty training when your child shows they are ready.
  • Moving and exploring: climbing, sensory play, art and building.
  • Getting along: parallel play that grows into early sharing and turn-taking.

Learning centers in the room
