Vegetarian menus.
Halal & organic questions.

A good meal arrangement starts with understanding your child. Let’s talk about food preferences, allergies and dietary requirements before their first meal.

Ask your center’s team ↗
01

Vegetarian daycare menus

Review separate vegetarian, dairy-free and egg-free menus with us. These are individual menu options, not a combined allergen filter. Vegetarian meals may contain milk and eggs.

02

Food allergies & individual plans

Tell us what your child needs to avoid. Our team can discuss recipes, substitutions and preparation with the caterer. The PDFs are menu guides, not complete ingredient or allergen lists.

03

Halal meal requests

Ask us about specific meals and current supplier documentation. Poultry facility documents do not certify every menu item; product and batch details need to be confirmed.

04

Organic ingredient sourcing

Our caterer describes an emphasis on organic produce. Ask your center which ingredients are organic in the current meals; the sample menus do not establish that every ingredient or meal is certified organic. Read the caterer’s ingredient information ↗

A little clarity for parents

Your questions, answered.

Do your daycare meals include organic ingredients?

Our caterer describes an emphasis on organic produce in its ingredient sourcing. The sample menus do not identify every ingredient as organic. Ask your Lake Zurich or Island Lake center which ingredients are organic in the current meals; this is not a claim that every meal is certified organic.

What meals can I explore for my child?

The sample menus include breakfast and lunch, with seasonal fruit at both meals. Lunch examples combine a main dish with grains and vegetables. Ask your Lake Zurich or Island Lake team which meals, snacks and beverages are included in your child’s program.

Are vegetarian, dairy-free and egg-free menus available?

Separate vegetarian, dairy-free and egg-free sample menus are available to review. Please confirm your child’s needs and the current meal arrangements with our team. Vegetarian does not mean vegan, and one dietary menu does not automatically cover multiple restrictions.

How should I discuss a food allergy?

Contact the center before your child’s first meal. Share the foods that must be avoided and any written care instructions. Our team can discuss ingredients, substitutions and preparation with the caterer. These menus are not an allergen chart or a guarantee against cross-contact.

Can my child have halal meals?

Please ask our team about the specific meals and current documentation. Supplier documents relate to certain poultry facilities and products; they do not certify the entire menu. Current product and batch documentation must be confirmed before a halal arrangement is agreed.

Is this the current monthly menu?

This page shows examples from the supplied September 28–October 30 menus, using the October 5–9 sample week. The source menus do not specify a year. Recipes, fruit and meal availability may change; ask the center for the current menu.

Does this menu apply to infants?

This page is not an infant feeding plan. Please speak with your center’s team about your baby’s feeding schedule, milk or formula, food textures and the introduction of solids.
