Twos Classroom

Twos classrooms set up for art, reading, small-group play and outdoor time.
Twos Classroom (2 – 3 Years)
Two-year-olds are ready for more: more words, more independence, more friends. Our Twos classrooms in Lake Zurich and Island Lake give children aged 2 to 3 a predictable day with plenty of room to try things on their own, while teachers help them work through big feelings and get ready for preschool.
Teachers plan with The Creative Curriculum for Toddlers & Twos, built around hands-on play.
Focus areas
- Language and communication: a growing vocabulary, simple conversations and following directions.
- Social development: sharing, taking turns and building friendships through cooperative play.
- Self-help skills: handwashing, dressing and early potty training routines.
- Cognitive growth: sorting, counting, matching and sensory exploration.
