Multi-Lingual Program

Multi-Lingual Program

We are proud to offer a dynamic Multilingual Program that introduces young learners to both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish through age-appropriate immersion experiences. Designed to build early brain connections and promote cultural awareness, our language enrichment supports cognitive flexibility, social-emotional development, and long-term academic success.

  • Mandarin Immersion is led by a native Mandarin-speaking teacher who guides children through songs, stories, art, and hands-on culture learning—all in Chinese. This immersive approach allows children to naturally absorb the language while building confidence in listening and speaking.
  • Spanish Exposure is integrated weekly through lessons taught by our own trained teaching staff using music, vocabulary games, and everyday phrases woven into classroom routines. Children learn basic Spanish words, numbers, and cultural elements in a playful and engaging way.

By providing consistent exposure to both languages during the early years, we help children develop a strong foundation in multilingual thinking—an advantage that lasts a lifetime.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Why teach multiple languages at such a young age?

Young children’s brains are especially receptive to language. Exposure to second (or third) languages in early childhood enhances cognitive development, memory, and problem-solving skills—and sets the stage for future language mastery.

In our Mandarin classes, the teacher uses Mandarin almost exclusively to communicate. Children learn through context, repetition, visual cues, and active participation. This natural language acquisition process mirrors how they learn their first language.

Not at all. Children are capable of learning more than one language at once, and research shows it strengthens overall communication and thinking skills. Some code-switching is normal early on but resolves naturally over time.

Mandarin immersion sessions take place multiple times per week with a dedicated native-speaking teacher. Spanish is introduced weekly by our on-site staff through songs, routines, and interactive vocabulary games.

Yes! We share language milestones, photos, and activities through Brightwheel and during parent-teacher conferences so you can see how your child is growing as a multilingual learner.

Studies show that early exposure to multiple languages enhances brain development, academic achievement, cultural empathy, and even job opportunities later in life. It’s one of the greatest gifts we can give during these formative years.

That’s perfectly okay! Children don’t need reinforcement at home to benefit from our multilingual program. We design our immersion experiences to be self-contained, using repetition, visual supports, and engaging activities that help children understand and retain new language naturally. If you’d like to support your child’s learning at home, we can recommend songs, simple phrases, or storybooks to explore together—but it’s completely optional.
