Curriculums
Infant Room
Our Infant program emphasizing responsive, relationship-based care. Teachers nurture trust and security by:
- Building Strong Bonds: Consistent, caring interactions help infants develop a sense of safety and attachment.
- Sensory Exploration: Soft toys, varied textures, and gentle sounds stimulate curiosity in a safe, supervised space.
- Flexible Routines: Feeding, sleeping, and play schedules are guided by each infant’s cues and individual needs.
- Language Immersion: Caregivers use warm, expressive voices to introduce early language through songs, stories, and simple conversations.
Toddler Room
oddlers are explorers by nature, and The Creative Curriculum encourages active, hands-on learning and independence:
- Active Play: Low shelving and clearly labeled materials invite toddlers to engage in self-directed exploration.
- Language Growth: Teachers model new vocabulary and encourage simple conversations, guiding toddlers as they learn to express themselves.
- Social-Emotional Development: Small group activities and cooperative play foster sharing, empathy, and early conflict resolution.
- Routines and Transitions: Predictable daily patterns instill confidence and help toddlers understand their world.
Two's Program
In the two-year-old room, we provide an environment that allows children to learn by doing—moving from concrete, hands-on experiences to more abstract concept development. Running all year long, our theme-based lessons integrate storytelling, puppetry, dramatic play, music, games, science activities, and problem-solving conversations to build strong language skills. We also focus on developing physical abilities through both outdoor and indoor games, encouraging large motor growth. At the same time, fine motor skills are nurtured using manipulative toys, blocks, puzzles, and other small tools.
We recognize that potty training is a significant milestone at this age, and we will collaborate with you to make it a positive, supportive experience.
At Learning Tree Center, we respect parents as the child’s primary caregivers and believe that parents and teachers should work as partners. By blending our commitment to family engagement with The Creative Curriculum approach, we create a warm, collaborative setting where your child can thrive.
Three's Program
Welcome to the Three’s! (Approx. 3–4 Years Old)
In the three-year-old classroom, children are typically potty-trained, and at Learning Tree Center, we strive to create an environment that fosters successful experiences—encouraging all children to develop a healthy self-concept and positive self-esteem. Guided by The Creative Curriculum, we move from concrete, hands-on experiences toward more abstract concept development, ensuring each child learns by doing.
Using our theme-based approach, we promote language through stories, puppetry, dramatic play, music, games, science materials, and problem-solving conversations. To further enrich language skills and cultural awareness, we’re proud to incorporate Mandarin and Spanish immersion into our daily activities. This early exposure to additional languages and cultures broadens children’s perspectives and builds confidence in communication.
We also focus on physical development, nurturing large motor skills through both outdoor and indoor play, and strengthening fine motor abilities with manipulative toys, blocks, puzzles, and other small tools. During the summer months, field trips and in-house activities are integrated into the theme-based curriculum for expanded hands-on learning.
Learning Tree Center respects parents as the primary and most important providers of care and nurturing. We believe parents and teachers should work as partners, collaborating to support every child’s growth and success.
Four's Program
Welcome to the Four’s!
In our four-year-old classroom, the primary focus is on kindergarten readiness. We create an environment grounded in successful experiences, fostering a healthy self-concept and positive self-esteem in each child. Through hands-on learning—progressing from concrete activities to more abstract concepts—children actively engage in theme-based lessons that stimulate curiosity and critical thinking.
Because language development is vital for future academic success, our Mandarin and Spanish immersion program becomes more advanced at this stage. We integrate bilingual instruction into daily activities—stories, puppetry, dramatic play, music, games, science materials, problem-solving, and group discussions—to expand vocabulary, cultural awareness, and communication skills in both English and new languages.
Physical development also remains a priority: large motor skills are nurtured through outdoor and indoor activities, while fine motor skills flourish with the help of manipulative toys, blocks, puzzles, and other small tools. During the summer, we incorporate field trips and in-house activities tied to our theme-based curriculum, offering real-world exploration that reinforces classroom learning.
At Learning Tree Center, we value parents as the child’s most important caregivers. We believe in a strong partnership between home and school, ensuring that together, we can help your child thrive and confidently step into their next big adventure—kindergarten.
